Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect product aesthetics to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Ability to read schedule, set up area with required packaging materials and delivery appropriate cartons to the cells
  • Recognize quality defects and take appropriate action
  • Accurately perform disposition of package finished goods in accordance with packaging guidelines
  • Communicate issues to technicians
  • Accurately document production data
  • Able to operate the following equipment in the packaging area: baler, pallet walkie/jack, & pack size machine.
  • Observe safety and security procedures & reports potentially unsafe conditions
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects/events
  • Maintain a clean orderly work environment by organizing, sweeping, emptying trash receptacles, and following 5S
  • Actively participate in shift exchange by giving & receive critical information
  • Forklift operation if necessary
  • Other duties may be assigned
