About The Position
The Packer is responsible for safely inspecting, packaging, and preparing aluminum profiles for shipment. American Aluminum Extrusion (AAE) is a stable, well-established company in the aluminum extrusion industry, celebrating 25 years of success. They are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to grow with them and are looking for dedicated team members interested in building a career with a company serving Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. AAE has exciting plans for continued growth and promotes from within, offering opportunities for advancement into roles such as Press Leads, Operators, Supervisors, and management positions.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move material or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Safely inspect, package, and prepare aluminum profiles for shipment.
- Verify parts, quantities, and order information.
- Assist with loading and unloading aluminum profiles.
- Package products according to customer and company requirements.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
