About The Position

The Packer performs production-line assignments according to safety specifications, instructions, and requirements, and meets production standards within required timeframes. The role maintains clean work areas and reports production waste to a Production Lead or Supervisor. Packers are responsible for safety and quality during production and must notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping away from the line. The position also follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned by a Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Meet production standards for assigned work within the required time.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in the assigned space.
• Report production waste to a Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line so safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as required by a Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
