About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Packer on the day shift, working 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm. The company is growing and focuses on customer satisfaction, offering training and professional development. Quality and safety are top priorities in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school, Vo-Tech, or equivalent graduate.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak clearly before groups of customers or employees.
  • Basic Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided.
  • Ability to stand for most of the work shift.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, bend, twist, and occasionally sit.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (heavier amounts with equipment assistance).

Nice To Haves

  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of cGMPs and Good Hygiene Personnel Practices.
  • Understanding of all Company policies, including GMP’s and safety policies, HACCP & SQF.

Responsibilities

  • Picking, inspecting, and packing quality parts into boxes on the assigned line.
  • Accurately counting parts to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Bagging parts and placing them into the correct box on the production line.
  • Properly sealing boxes to minimize potential damage.
  • Operating equipment as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area, reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Adhering to safety policies and wearing all required safety gear, including hairnets, gloves, and company uniforms.
  • Meeting or exceeding minimum standards for quality packaged finished goods.
  • Reporting any quality problems immediately to the operator or supervisor.
  • Performing basic sanitation functions.
  • Identifying and controlling nonconforming product related to food safety and quality.
  • Following all company policies, including GMPs, safety policies, HACCP, and SQF.
