About The Position
This position is responsible for reviewing work order instructions, completing assigned work orders, and ensuring the quality of extrusion products. The role involves bundling products according to packing instructions, verifying work order completion, and performing plant floor housekeeping. The job requires punctuality, excellent attendance, and the physical ability to handle extensive sitting, standing/walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Additionally, it involves the use of hand tools, daily equipment inspection, and working in extreme temperatures.
Requirements
- Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must possess high school diploma, G.E.D, or h.s equivelant
- Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
- Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review work order instructions.
- Complete Work Orders assigned.
- Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
- Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
- Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
- Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.
