About The Position

This position is for a Packer on the Afternoon Shift in Livonia. The role involves reviewing work order instructions, completing assigned tasks, and ensuring the quality of extrusion products by checking for defects. Responsibilities include bundling products according to instructions, verifying and signing off on completed work orders, and performing general housekeeping duties on the plant floor. The job requires punctuality, excellent attendance, and the physical capacity to handle tasks such as extensive sitting, standing/walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Additionally, the role involves using hand tools, inspecting equipment, and working in extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
• Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review work order instructions.
• Complete Work Orders assigned.
• Review the quality of extrusion products (i.e.: length, surface, dents, defects, etc.) reporting any discrepancies.
• Bundle products following packing instructions from the work order.
• Review, verify, and sign the completion of work order.
• Various plant floor housekeeping, as needed.
