About The Position

This role involves receiving packing slips, verifying linen orders, packing merchandise correctly, and ensuring timely shipment preparation. The Packer acts as a second filter to guarantee order accuracy and proper labeling.

Requirements

• Ability to receive packing slips 48 hours in advance.
• Ability to receive racks of linens with orders pre-made.
• Attention to detail to ensure all linens and merchandise amounts are correct.
• Responsibility for return bags and pillow inserts.
• Ability to pack in the correct box and tape it correctly.
• Ability to verify orders multiple times.
• Ability to ensure the correct packing slip is in the correct box.
• Ability to place correct labels on boxes.
• Ability to meet labeling deadlines (by 2 PM for the day's orders and container).
• Ability to manage workload for upcoming shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive packing slips 48 hours in advance.
• Receive racks of linens with orders pre-made.
• Act as a second filter to ensure all linens and the correct amount of merchandise are included in orders.
• Be responsible for return bags and pillow inserts for all orders.
• Pack orders in the correct box and tape it securely after verifying the order one last time.
• Ensure the correct packing slip is placed in the correct box.
• Place correct labels on boxes.
• Ensure labels are placed on all orders of the day as well as in the container by 2 PM.
• Continue working on the next two days' shipments.
