About The Position

Under the supervision of the Team Leader and/or Area Manager, this role is responsible for pulling and packing Toyota shipments accurately and on time for weekly shipments. The position involves working in Dunnage, packing quality parts that meet all customer requirements, and having the authority to stop packing if parts do not meet quality standards, notifying the Area Manager for instructions. Responsibilities also include sorting empty Toyota Dunnage by destination and size, banding skids before they are moved by a Hi Lo driver, adhering to all safety regulations, reporting safety concerns, accurately completing all paperwork and transactions in Plex, ensuring efficient and organized container packing, and training new associates as directed. The role also includes performing other essential functions as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to work the 2nd shift.
Ability to work in Dunnage.
Ability to identify and pack quality parts.
Ability to sort Dunnage by destination and size.
Ability to band skids.
Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to complete paperwork and transactions accurately.
Ability to pack containers efficiently and organized.
Ability to train new associates.

Responsibilities

Pulling and packing Toyota shipments accurately and on time.
Ensuring packed parts meet all customer quality requirements.
Ceasing packing if parts do not meet quality standards and notifying the Area Manager.
Sorting empty Toyota Dunnage by destination and size.
Banding skids prior to being moved by a Hi Lo driver.
Adhering to all safety regulations.
Reporting any safety concerns to the Team Leader and/or Area Manager.
Completing all paperwork and transactions in Plex accurately.
Packing containers efficiently and in an organized fashion.
Training new associates as directed by the Area Manager.
Performing other essential functions as assigned.
