About The Position

The Packer maintains material flow on the production floor by stocking machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and before shift change. The role also supports production by relieving coworkers for breaks and lunches, helping with packing and sorting, and maintaining product flow through the skid-wrapper and finished-goods staging process. The position performs and documents random quality inspections on each production line twice per shift.

Responsibilities

• Stock production machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and before shift change.
• Relieve coworkers for breaks and lunches.
• Maintain product flow at the skid wrapper by placing skids on the wrapper, removing them, and pulling them to finished-goods staging in the warehouse.
• Conduct random quality inspections on each line twice per shift and document them on the IBM report.
• Assist with packing as needed.
• Assist with on-line sorting and rework of product with machine or product concerns.
• Assist with sorting product on hold.
