About The Position

The Packer maintains material flow on the production floor by stocking machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and before shift change. The role also supports break and lunch coverage, maintains product flow at the skid wrapper, performs random quality inspections, and assists with packing and sorting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock production machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and prior to shift change.
• Assist with break and lunch relief.
• Maintain product flow at the skid wrapper by placing skids on it, removing skids, and pulling them to finished goods staging in the warehouse.
• Conduct random quality inspections on each line twice per shift and document them on the IBM report.
• Assist with packing as needed.
• Assist with on-line sorting and rework of product with machine or product concerns.
• Assist with sorting product that is on hold.
