About The Position

Market Leader in Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a reliable, motivated person for work in Packing department. Position Requirements: Able to stand all day Ability to lift 40+ pounds Able to work in manufacturing environment around working machinery and experiencing seasonal extreme weather conditions (heat/humidity or cold) Must have good math and measuring skills. Valid driver's license required to operate forklifts. Shift Hours/Days: 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Saturday Job Description: Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment. Inspects metal and counts pieces. Packs metal according to printed customer specifications. Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles. Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs. Performance is measured against established productivity goals. Maintains clean and orderly workplace. Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor. Weekends are required.
