Use of power equipment to load and unload product. Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license, use a handheld RF Scan Device, and lift 50lbs. The role involves sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, as well as twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level. The work environment is non-climate controlled. The Forklift Operator is expected to meet established productivity standards, understand stocking strategies, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer work instructions. Safety is paramount, including following dock safety policies, completing lift inspections, reporting equipment malfunctions, and adhering to all safety and security policies. Quality is also critical, ensuring error and damage-free shipments, accurate scanning, and proper completion of paperwork. Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies are key responsibilities. The role encourages initiative, such as gaining knowledge of multiple accounts and job functions.
