About The Position
The Packer inspects packaging materials, supplies, and finished products—including bottles, jars, or custom parts—for quality defects. The role packs finished goods into boxes, cartons, or shipping cases and prepares them for palletization. It also supports production and packing lines by supplying required materials, reports quality or mechanical issues to shift supervisors, operators, or quality technicians, and follows customer-specific labeling, lot-tracking, and packaging instructions.
Responsibilities
- Inspect packaging materials, supplies, and finished products for quality defects.
- Pack finished goods into boxes, cartons, or shipping cases and prepare them for palletization.
- Supply production and packing lines with required materials.
- Report quality or mechanical issues to shift supervisors, operators, or quality technicians in a timely manner.
- Follow customer-specific labeling, lot-tracking, and packaging instructions.
