About The Position

The Packer supports the operations team in a fast-paced production warehouse environment. The role involves inspecting products for defects and packing finished goods in the correct configuration. Packers package products into boxes for shipment, monitor product quality, maintain supplies and cleanliness at their stations, and follow safety guidelines. The posted day shift runs from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule; night shift opportunities may also be available.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform continuous standing and walking and to twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend, and reach overhead throughout the scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 0–50 pounds, depending on the assigned line.
• Ability to climb stairs throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold indoor working conditions.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks requiring dexterity in the hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and clothing.

• Experience working with plastic molding.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in a fast-paced production warehouse environment.
• Inspect products for defects and pack finished goods in the correct configuration.
• Package products into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
• Check products for quality issues and contact the team lead when issues arise.
• Ensure the work station has sufficient supplies, such as boxes and tape.
• Keep the work station clean.
• Follow safety guidelines.
