About The Position

This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The responsibilities include ensuring product safety and quality, promoting a safe working environment, understanding and adhering to safety policies, monitoring ware for quality defects, packing at a standard rate, operating a punch, loading conveyors and flamers, practicing housekeeping, removing scrap, grinding and pulling plastic, making and unitizing cartons, initialing and dating box labels, making out unit tickets, and performing other duties assigned by the Supervisor. The role requires the ability to work with 30-40 lb. materials.

Responsibilities

Ensure product safety and quality.
Promote a safe working environment.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Monitor ware for quality defects and promptly inform the operator and/or the coordinator.
Pack at standard rate.
Operate a punch.
Load conveyors and flamers.
Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around machine including mopping if necessary.
Remove scrap from around the line.
Grind and pull plastic as needed.
Make and unitize cartons as assigned.
Initial and date box labels.
Make out unit tickets.
Do any other work assigned by the Supervisor.
