About The Position

Rapak LLC is seeking a Packer for all shifts at their Indianapolis, IN facility. This is a full-time, hourly position in Manufacturing Production / Distribution. The role involves maintaining a safe work environment, inspecting products, assembling and packing products, labeling and stacking boxes, and performing housekeeping duties. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, with buddy lifting for heavier items. Overtime is required, and excellent work attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Inspect product, record defects, and notify operator/quality of non-conformances.
• Make boxes, assemble product if required, and pack product using the prescribed packing configuration.
• Track box quantity with bag line counters.
• Label and stack completed boxes of product.
• Participate in roll changes.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitizing duties.
• Ensure a proper shift change by explaining defects and special needs of the work in-progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
