About The Position

This position is responsible for packing patties and keeping scraps cleaned off the line, while adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. The role involves loading patties within department specifications, recognizing product that may not meet standards, sliding packed patties onto a conveyor line, and keeping the line clear of scrap patties and debris. The position also requires setting up the work area with all necessary equipment, performing minor maintenance, monitoring the production area for cleanliness, and cleaning the work area at the end of the shift. This role is for current team members at the facility or complex only.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
Must be willing and able to clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment in preparation for startup.
Pack patties within department specifications.
Keep scraps cleaned off the line.
Recognize product that may not meet standards.
Slide packed patties onto conveyor line.
Keep fresh scrap patties off the line.
Keep patties lines even and take doubles off the line.
Set up area with all needed equipment.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Work on and around machinery and chemicals.
