About The Position

This position has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below. The role involves promoting a safe working environment, monitoring for quality defects, packing at a standard rate, operating equipment, and maintaining cleanliness. Employees are expected to handle materials up to 30-40 lbs and perform other assigned duties by their supervisor. This is a full-time position with a specific shift (7P-7A).

Requirements

• Ability to work with 30-40 lb. materials.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor ware for quality defects and report them.
• Pack at a standard rate.
• Operate a punch.
• Load conveyors and flamers.
• Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around the machine.
• Remove scrap from around the line.
• Grind and pull plastic as needed.
• Make and unitize cartons.
• Initial and date box labels.
• Make out unit tickets.
• Perform other work assigned by the Supervisor.
• Work with 30-40 lb. materials.
