Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Must be able to make visual assessments of the product from a product quality standpoint and take appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Must be able to operate various pieces of equipment efficiently and safely, including forklifts, lift assists, and garbage/trash compactors.
  • Possess knowledge of product flow.

  • Serve in the capacity of ERT member, attending all required training and responding to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Sealing and packaging dry Calcium Hypochlorite products in various container sizes, including 25 lb, 50 lb, and 100 lb pails, as well as 2000 lb intermediate bulk containers (IBCs).
  • Rotating through Packout, Blending, and Briquettes stations based on a weekly schedule.
  • Serving as the final quality checkpoint before shipment, requiring visual inspection of products and appropriate action when needed.
  • Accurate record-keeping, including correct weights in the seal room and accurate record-keeping while reworking.
  • Safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, lift assists, and garbage/trash compactors.
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing augers, repairing chain breaks, repairing rolls, and tightening photocells.
  • Supporting new team members by providing instruction and assistance.
  • Assisting in the Process area with housekeeping and other duties under supervision.
  • Participating in emergency response training and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
