About The Position

Mark Anthony Brewing Canada Ltd. is looking for a reliable, hands-on, and safety-focused Packer Operator to join our Surrey production team. As a Packer Operator, you will be primarily responsible for the daily operation of packaging equipment across the can line, keg line, and variety pack line, while supporting general cleanup, sanitation, product quality, and production efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in quality, and is willing to learn and grow within the beverage industry. This position requires availability for afternoon shift and may require overtime based on operational needs. The Packer Operator reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Prior brewery, beverage, food manufacturing, or packaging experience is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and develop within the role.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Reliable attendance and availability to work all shifts.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the production schedule to ensure orders are completed on time, using the proper materials and adhering to set quality standards.
  • Efficiently operate and monitor equipment on the can line, keg line, and variety pack line.
  • Perform changeovers, minor adjustments, start-up, and shut down of equipment.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products are produced within set specifications.
  • Adhere to all plant rules, GMPs, regulatory, safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Perform CIPs, equipment cleaning, and area sanitation when required.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to help resolve issues.
  • Support general cleanup and sanitation duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support production goals.
  • Perform other duties as required.
