About The Position

The Packer/Mover is responsible for safely packing, transporting, and returning customers' belongings during the restoration process. This role works directly with customers and team members to ensure personal property is handled with care, accurately documented, and delivered safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous moving, packing, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience preferred; restoration experience is a plus.
Ability to lift and move heavy items throughout the workday.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle customer belongings with care.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime or weekends as business needs require.

Restoration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pack, label, load, and transport customers' belongings safely and efficiently.
Assist with inventorying and documenting items before they are moved.
Carefully handle furniture, electronics, household goods, and other personal belongings.
Deliver, unpack, and help set up customer belongings once restoration work is complete.
Work at residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, or other property damage.
Communicate professionally with customers and provide a positive customer experience.
Keep company vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
Participate in training to learn company processes and restoration best practices.
Support warehouse and restoration operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
