This position is responsible for taco case off while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. We offer competitive pay and great benefits. This facility operates six days a week (weekends as needed) and produces Bacon Toppings and Tacos. The pay for this position starts at $18.10 an hour with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for working 2nd shift. This job is for you if you like fast-paced environments and repetitive motion.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to lift and pull up to 50 pounds or more if required
- Perform fast and repetitive motions
- Stand up to 8-12 hours per day
- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching as required
- Work in a range of temperatures from 45 degrees to 110 degrees depending upon the area of the plant
- Work in a cold, damp, hot or humid environment
- Wear all proper safety equipment
- Willing to work weekends if required
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment
- Most Senior Team Member will be awarded
- New TM’s still in the first 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid
- No lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months
- This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only
- Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
- Certain roles at Tyson require background checks
