About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled packer labor position that requires maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tyson Foods operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage. The starting pay for this position is $19.85 an hour, and an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds.
The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute)
The Team Member will reach high and low levels, frequently.
The Team Member will move from one area of production to another.
The Team Member will visually inspect product.
Most Senior Team Member will be awarded.
New TM’s still in the first 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.
No lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.
