About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and accurate inventory management through careful inspection and packing of parts. The individual will follow written instructions and quality standards to identify defects and maintain production requirements. Punctual and regular attendance is expected, along with the ability to perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to determine production requirements and part specifications.
• Ability to manually place parts into inventory baskets.
• Ability to visually inspect for quality defects (scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.).
• Ability to perform first piece inspection.
• Ability to record and report production, quality, and inventory information accurately.
• Ability to label and tag parts and baskets accurately.
• Punctual and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety for oneself and others.
• Follow written instructions to understand production requirements and part specifications from work standard sheets.
• Manually place parts into inventory baskets.
• Visually inspect components and assemblies for quality defects such as scrap marks, rust, burrs, and lamination.
• Perform first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions or supervisor's direction.
• Accurately record and report production, quality, and inventory information.
• Accurately label and/or tag parts and baskets.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
