About The Position

This role involves packaging life-saving medicines on a high-speed computerized assembly line. The position requires strict adherence to standard operating procedures and documentation requirements, including visual inspection of vials and labels to ensure packaged products meet all specifications. The individual will also be responsible for identifying and reporting problems, making minor equipment adjustments, assisting with changeovers and set-ups, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Continuous training and the ability to train other crew members are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive work.
  • Must be able to focus on details for periods of time (i.e. visual inspection, labeling).
  • Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
  • Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafter.
  • Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude are preferred, particularly HMI experience.

Responsibilities

  • Package life-saving medicines on high-speed computerized assembly line.
  • Conduct visual inspection of vials and labels.
  • Move product on and off assembly line.
  • Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Identify and report problems.
  • Become qualified inspector.
  • Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and set-up to equipment.
  • Assure that the packaged product meets all specifications.
  • Perform visual inspection of labeled vials.
  • Comply with all SOP's and cGMP's.
  • Continue to train as well as train other crew members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment/apparel.
  • Work overtime as needed.
