About The Position

The Packer 1 position is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role responsible for various tasks related to measuring, weighing, counting, inspecting, and packaging products and materials. This role ensures that packing specifications are met, documentation is maintained, and product integrity is preserved. The position is based in Everett, WA, and offers multiple shift options, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, with potential shift differentials for certain shifts.

Responsibilities

Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.
Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
Seal containers or materials using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
