About The Position

As a Packaging Technician, you will support high-speed manufacturing operations by working on fully automated toothpaste packaging lines in a GMP-regulated environment. This hands-on role involves operating equipment, handling materials, completing quality checks, and maintaining accurate production documentation while prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of a HS Diploma/GED is required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
• Basic computer, math and measurement abilities strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or Production environment experience preferred.
• PIT/forklift experience is preferred.
• Experience with equipment/machinery maintenance and changeovers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art, fully automated packaging lines running at speeds of up to 450 tubes per minute
• Handle packaging materials and finished goods, including cartons, shippers, labels, pallets, and related supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance to keep packaging lines running efficiently
• Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance activities
• Conduct inventory counts of packaging materials and finished products
• Perform material and production transactions in SAP, from receipt through final product
• Complete frequent quality checks and accurately document results
• Record batch and production activities in computerized systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and waste reduction
• Follow all safety requirements, GMP standards, and company procedures, including work instructions and batch documentation
