About The Position

Etz Hayim Holdings owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, with a comprehensive operation that includes farming, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, supply chain, and warehousing. Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2016 to make quality hemp-based CBD accessible to everyone, controlling the entire manufacturing process from farm to packaging to ensure safe, effective, and affordable CBD. They offer a 60% Assistance Program for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those facing income challenges. Cycling Frog aims to normalize casual use THC products by making them convenient, affordable, and fun, focusing on lower potency, ready-to-drink beverages. This role is based in Portland, Oregon.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing industries is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to receive instruction, and follow and execute directions.
  • Ability to interact positively with co-workers and management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to follow cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors and/or inconsistencies while performing tasks.
  • Self-management skills.
  • Ability to work both as a part of a team as well as on your own.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in packaging operations, including filling, sealing, capsule pressing, heat shrinking, product re-work, and loading/off-loading of product.
  • Monitor the production line for packaging problems such as pile-ups, jams, sealing issues, or product defects.
  • Pro-actively engage in the improvement of product handling on the production line to gain efficiencies.
  • Load formulations or packaging materials to equipment.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products.
  • Identify any non-conforming product.
  • Interface with the QA Department to ensure re-worked and non-conforming products and packaging material are logged and corrected according to standards.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for sanitation, using basic tools.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment to comply with food safety and quality standards.
  • Perform general cleaning of the area and workspaces.
  • Maintain best practices according to SOPs and company standards.
  • Adhere to all personnel, food safety, and safety policies.
