About The Position

The Packaging Technician at Future Electronics is responsible for efficiently and accurately packaging electronic components and products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are prepared for shipment. The role operates and maintains packaging equipment, inspects packaged products, prepares shipping documentation, monitors packaging-material inventory, handles materials and finished products, and maintains a safe, organized packaging area. The technician may also assist with other warehouse duties, including picking and packing.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment; packaging experience is preferred.
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills for data entry and label generation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including sealing machines, labeling machines, and box formers.
Inspect packaged products to ensure proper labeling, sealing, and containment.
Prepare shipping documentation and labels accurately for outgoing packages.
Monitor inventory of packaging materials and report shortages to supervisors.
Load and unload materials and finished products while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the packaging area.
Follow company safety regulations and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
