About The Position
Royal Oak is looking for a Packaging Technician D. This position is responsible for the operation of the machines required to package charcoal briquets. Packaging technicians are able to operate one of the following pieces of equipment: Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline.
Requirements
- LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire
Responsibilities
- Operation of machines required to package charcoal briquets
- Operate Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline
- Able to operate equipment at standard run rates
- Able to identify critical elements on each machine
- Able to perform basic corrective actions
- Able to perform a change over w/ assistance
- Maintain a clean work area
- Identify quality issues
