About The Position

The Packaging Tech Level I ensures the quality and consistency of cannabis products through hands-on packaging work with minimal machine interaction. The role involves basic packaging tasks and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Training and opportunities for career progression and skill development are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds and see and respond to dangerous situations.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
• Ability to perform lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, and repetitive hand use and grasping.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and packaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks, including labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including Packaging department rooms and the immediate workspace, by following daily cleaning protocols.
• Regularly clean work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
• Follow standard safety and compliance procedures.
• Report compliance or safety errors to department leadership.
• Contribute to the safety and maintenance of the workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
