About The Position
As a Packaging Team Member at Jimmy's Salad Dressing & Dips, you will play a key role in the production and packaging of high-quality food products. Requirements
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or production environments is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment used in food processing and packaging.
- Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet established specifications and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Report any hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure products are properly packaged and labeled, ready for shipment or storage.
- Assist in inventory checks and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced.
- Work closely with fellow team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure production goals are met.
- Participate in training, share insights, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Crosstrain in multiple areas of production to support flexibility and operational needs.
- Perform additional implied tasks as directed by supervisors to support overall production objectives.
