About The Position

Perrigo is seeking motivated Packaging Specialists to join our 2nd shift team. No manufacturing experience? No problem — we provide full training. As a Packaging Specialist, you’ll support the production of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturing orders, and cleaning checklists in compliance with cGMP regulations. You will operate computer-controlled equipment using an Operator Interface Terminal (OIT), perform in-process testing, visual inspections, and document results accurately. You will also handle materials using pallet jacks and perform basic utility tasks, clean and prepare equipment and packaging lines using manual and automated processes, and complete minor equipment servicing, including disassembly, reassembly, and setup. This role requires working around potential allergens, including: Omeprazole, Esomeprazole, Lansoprazole, Pantoprazole, Rabeprazole, Famotidine, Loratadine, Guaifenesin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Nicotine, and Natural Flavorings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed
  • Ability to train on various shifts
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

  • 6 months–1 year of direct manufacturing experience
  • 1–2 years of general manufacturing experience
  • 3–4 years of non-manufacturing work experience
