Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Capable of lifting 55 pounds.
Able to stand for a minimum of 12 hours.
Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 38 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move or push/pull up to 55 lbs.
Act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).

Nice To Haves

6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment (carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters, foil dispensers, top closers, palletization equipment).
Perform manual responsibilities including loading, building and making boxes, and hand packaging of bottles and labels.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
Load/unload packaging materials such as corrugate, containers or other raw materials.
Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks.
Perform changeovers of various packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer).
Apply correct labels.
Perform quality checks, including visual inspection of product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Perform Autonomous Maintenance.
Maintain a labeling accuracy rate of 100%.
Perform all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.
Ensure line clearance accuracy.
Complete autonomous maintenance tasks.
