About The Position

Deschutes Brewery, a leading independent craft brewery, is seeking a full-time, night shift Packaging Machine Operator. This role is crucial in operating the packaging line to prepare beverages for distribution in kegs, cans, and bottles. The position involves working with automated equipment, performing quality control checks (e.g., 'bottled on' dates, expiration dates, batch numbers), and changing labels. While previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred, it is not required. This is a full-time, night shift position with a typical schedule of Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, though the schedule may vary based on business needs. Requirements

Eagerness and ability to learn specialty brewery equipment and machinery.

Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Operate various pieces of automated equipment on the packaging line.
Perform quality control and checking for accuracy on 'bottled on' dates, expiration dates, and batch numbers.
Change bottle labels.
Perform various other tasks in a production environment.
Work closely with other co-owners of the team to operate the packaging line.
