About The Position

Coopers Houston is recruiting a Packaging Operator for an industrial manufacturing operation in Houston, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in packaging, production, manufacturing, material handling, warehouse operations, industrial production, or general labor. The Packaging Operator will package finished products according to customer specifications and production requirements while ensuring products are properly prepared, identified, labeled, protected, and ready for safe shipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 3 months of experience in packaging, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling roles preferred.
Industrial or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
Ability to perform manual material handling.
Ability to follow production instructions.
Ability to accurately identify and label products.

Responsibilities

Package finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
Weigh, identify, label, and record packaged products.
Prepare finished products according to production schedules.
Support production operators with intermediate processes.
Assist with strapping and handling reels, spools, and packaged materials.
Report production deviations, issues, and operational occurrences to Production Operators or Supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety and environmental procedures.
Support basic production tasks as required to maintain workflow.
Follow company safety, quality, environmental, and production procedures.
Handle materials safely and responsibly.
Work effectively with Production and Operations teams.
