Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Min. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Capable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours
  • Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously

  • It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to: carton erectors partition inserters product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU) foil dispensers top closers palletization equipment
  • Manual responsibilities include: loading, building and making boxes hand packaging of bottles loading labels
  • Perform routine cleaning, and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers or other raw materials
  • Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks
  • Perform changeovers of divers packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, …)
  • Applies correct labels
  • Perform quality check consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects
  • Perform Autonomous maintenance
