About The Position

This role involves general labor duties on the 2nd shift, focusing on safe and efficient packaging operations. The operator will be responsible for packing products on various lines, palletizing, box making, and maintaining a clean work area. The position requires the ability to stand for the entire shift, lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally, and complete necessary paperwork. Additionally, the operator may be involved in training others, relieving other staff, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must have experience in packing product

Nice To Haves

• Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
• Must have understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies
• Mathematical skills
• Bilingual is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner and follow safety guidelines
• Understand and follow Food Safety Policies
• Pack on all lines at the specified rate
• Palletize and make boxes
• Bend, scoop and stand for the entire shift
• Complete paperwork as needed for position
• Train others as needed to increase their skill level
• Relieve others as needed, assist or fill in for Operators
• Assist in other departments
• Clean and organize work areas
• Lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
