Understand and follow all SOP’s. Ability to continuously lift over 50lbs during a scheduled work shift. Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, nights, and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies. Ability to work indoors, and in dusty environments. Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and work in elevated areas of the plant. Ability to obtain a license and operate a forklift. Ensure accurate information of operating logs, metal detector, batch records and transactions are recorded. Confirms each task is completed on time Maintains a safe and sanitary atmosphere, with a high regard for food safety and environmental impacts. Attends various mandatory safety and departmental meetings. Communicates in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involved. Assists other personnel as needed and will perform other duties essential to the department as requested. Perform hook ups and CIP on the dryer equipment. Trained to operate the dryer. Must be able to troubleshoot equipment shortfalls/failures, and repair tasks that may not require Maintenance Department. Trained to operate the Lactose Evaporator. Cover as Lactose Operator when needed. Trained to run Protein Dryer.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing, farming or agriculture environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong customer service focus is required.
  • Attention to detail
  • data entry into ERP Software
