Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to read and write simple English.
Must be able to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Requires specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and stay focused.
Ability to work in rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform labeling, packing, checking, palletizing, and other routine assignments based on appropriate work instructions or standard operating procedures.
Rotate to assist other teams, including chicken powder processing, filling, janitorial, mixing and cooking, packaging, and sanitation teams.
Carry out special duties assigned by Production Supervisors, Production Manager, and/or lead.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, GMPs, SSOPs, and HACCP.
Assist the line lead or supervisor in setting up production equipment.
Assist Production Supervisors or line lead in other activities when called upon.
