Packaging Operator PT - Evenings
About The Position
As a prominent daily commercial print company, we are seeking part-time team members to work in our seven-day a week Production facility. We believe in a collaborative environment where production excellence is standard, producing products that are delivered on time and of the highest quality. If you’re a team player, reliable, safety-conscious, enjoy a fast-paced environment and take satisfaction in a job well done, you'll do well on our team. The early evening shift starts and ends when the production print schedule is complete (generally around 11 or 11:30 pm). The shift schedule may include weekend evening(s). This isn’t a seasonal position.
Requirements
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Steel-toe safety shoes are required
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience a plus
- Warehouse associates welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Inserting advertisements into our newspapers and those of our clients.
- Responsible for inspecting items to ensure quality and appearance
- Responsible for creating accurate bundles for distribution
- Aiding team members in achieving on-time production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean production floor
