About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Packaging Operator II to efficiently operate packaging lines according to established procedures and customer specifications while meeting quality standards. The role includes packaging products, conducting and documenting quality checks, maintaining equipment and warehouse housekeeping, and following safety, environmental, and quality guidelines. The position is listed as 3rd shift, Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $18.10 per hour plus a $1.75 shift differential. An employee-of-the-month incentive is offered.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience.
• MHE experience with a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, clamp, and slip.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wrap product securely onto pallets.
• Label product according to customer specifications.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines.
• Hand-stack and restack product.
• Support operations as needed by leadership and perform other duties assigned by management.
• Package products into bags, boxes, or totes according to customer specifications.
• Document quality checks and enter information into the system.
• Read and communicate product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling, and/or weight against specifications.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping around packaging equipment and in the warehouse.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
• Make basic equipment adjustments to maintain finished-product conformity to specifications.
