Packaging Operator I
About The Position
This position requires heavy lifting. The overall responsibilities include quality inspection of New Line Stretta products, Octomeca start-up and shutdown, Itipack start-up and shutdown, shrinkwrap and vert corners loading, strap and edgeboard loading, and pallet runner fabrication and loading. Essential job functions include ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate, and filed correctly. This role also involves identifying, analyzing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes, and communicating inventory changes, cancellations, deficiencies, or reassignments to appropriate team members, departments, and vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of consistent experience in a manufacturing facility
- Maintain positive work environment, communicating to all internal and external customers to meet business objectives
- Follow all Safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct to the highest standards
