About The Position

This role is for the First Quality Baby Products site located in Macon, GA. The Packaging Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising, directing, and coordinating the training and work of all packaging maintenance personnel. This includes maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting packaging end machinery, equipment, and components. As a working supervisor, this role also involves operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure efficient product packing and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Advanced knowledge of technology and mechanics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety rules and always use proper safety equipment
  • Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate all Packaging processes and training of associates
  • Assign and monitor progress of assigned work or projects
  • Assist with troubleshooting of all machinery, equipment, and components when required
  • Manage change over documentation and set-ups
  • Manage equipment reliability
  • Share knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group
  • Contact outside vendors for special projects when required
  • Prepare reports and updates in a clear and concise manner
  • Other duties as assigned
