We are seeking a Packaging Maintenance Supervisor for our First Quality Baby Products site in Macon, GA. This role involves supervising, directing, and coordinating the training and work of packaging maintenance personnel responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting packaging machinery and equipment. As a working supervisor, you will also operate and maintain packaging equipment to ensure efficient and quality-compliant packing. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Advanced knowledge of technology and mechanics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Observe all safety rules and always use proper safety equipment
  • Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate all Packaging processes and training of associates
  • Assign and monitor progress of assigned work or projects
  • Assist with troubleshooting of all machinery, equipment, and components when required
  • Manage change over documentation and set-ups
  • Manage equipment reliability
  • Share knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group
  • Contact outside vendors for special projects when required
  • Prepare reports and updates in a clear and concise manner
  • Other duties as assigned
