About The Position

The Production Tech position performs the processing of cooked meat products under the supervisor and direction of the RTE Supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time.
• Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of a company approved frock, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent use/motion of hands, wrists and arms are required
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a meat trimmer or working in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain Multivac Controls, Change Film, Label Verification, Conveyor Belt Checks, Record OPS Data, Tool Accountability
• Performs the careful handling of both cold and hot cooked meat products in a fast-paced environment.
• Labeling, boxing and stacking finished products.
• Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time.
