Requirements

  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to read orders, container numbers, shipping orders, and bills of lading.
  • Demonstrated alertness, accuracy, physical strength, safety consciousness, cooperation, good memory, and patience.
  • Ability to perform other related duties and assignments as required.
  • Strong work habits, including neatness, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Compliance with all applicable quality management systems and environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, including, but not limited to, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and demonstrating comprehension of process specifications, including, but not limited to, the following requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and training materials.
  • Assess and enter data into shop floor systems.
  • As filled carts and sterilization platforms are received, review the router sheet to verify the correct product count, product codes, and batch numbers before processing on the SOLLAS machine.
  • Reject dispenser boxes with damaged wrapping and reprocess them on the SOLLAS machine.
  • As products move through the SOLLAS machine, inspect the quality and condition of dispenser boxes, including seal integrity, tear-tape placement, and overall appearance.
  • Verify batch integrity and prevent mixed batches.
  • Use HMS (Hot Room Management System) to locate and log batches into the hot room after SOLLAS wrapping, retrieve batches that have met hot room requirements, and log them out when physically removed.
  • Use LIMS to locate batches after SOLLAS wrapping and transfer them to the In-Test location.
  • Use JDE to issue components for current operations and transfer batches to the next department.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

  • Give and understand instructions, both verbal and written.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Adapt to change and accept additional responsibilities and training as required.
  • Transport product from the machine Kanban area and place it on the conveyor.
  • Obtain and install all raw materials required to properly operate the SOLLAS machine in accordance with specifications.
  • Remove each dispenser box from the conveyor and place it into the assembled shipping box.
  • Transfer filled shipping boxes to the Hot Room or In-Test area.
  • Hand-pack the appropriate box type into shipping boxes as needed.
