About The Position

Apache Mills, Inc. is hiring Packaging Level 1 Qualified Material Handlers for its second-shift Operations Team. The role supports production and packaging in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees are expected to meet company quality standards, follow processes and instructions, work safely, maintain attendance, and cooperate respectfully with team members, vendors, and visitors. Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while managing materials or products.
Ability to work at variable temperatures based on weather conditions, including hot weather.
Ability to work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with team members, vendors, and visitors.
Successfully complete drug and background screenings.

Responsibilities

Perform shift startup and end-of-shift duties as needed.
Identify and remove defective mats.
Ensure product labels and tags are correctly positioned and products are properly packaged.
Change the machine’s plastic, load the machine, and enter information into the computer to print pack SKU labels.
Complete production forms and maintain accurate production totals.
Help team members as needed.
Follow verbal and written instructions, company processes, and procedures.
Work safely in a fast-paced production environment and meet or exceed company quality standards.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the company premises.
