We are seeking an experienced field service technician to install new equipment and provide routine maintenance and service to our customers. Requirements

  • Two plus years of maintenance experience, including servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical machinery.
  • Practical application of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others, and leadership.
  • Ability to travel 80% during the week, primarily by automobile or plane.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Packaging Machinery experience is desired.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Install new packaging machinery equipment.
  • Provide preventive maintenance for customer equipment.
  • Perform on-site equipment repair.
  • Read diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering specifications, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Engage with customers on site to analyze equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to isolate problems and determine necessary actions.
  • Share information with team members, customers, and supervisors regarding corrective actions and equipment status.
  • Inform customers about routine preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Participate in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
