About The Position

This position is a mid-level packaging role that must adhere to quality standards and maintain cGMP training and training to applicable standard operating procedures. The primary function of this role is to support packaging operations including cleaning, equipment set-up, and packaging product. This role will work in conjunction with Packagers 1/3 or Leads when packaging products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1-year experience in a FDA/cGMP regulated production facility
  • Facility Core, Production Core and Packager 2 SOP requirements
  • Understand and follow written instructions, perform basic mathematical calculations, actively maintain a high level of personal and team safety, expected to be flexible to constant change in a fast-paced environment, frequently stand, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally bend, sit, squat, crawl, walk, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. consistently.
  • Able to safely team-lift heavier objects and operate lifting equipment.
  • Read and comprehend, write, perform basic mathematic calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure personnel are following cGMPs and SOPs during the process and ensure suite is in a state of compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment and rooms set up properly and this is documented in the correct logbooks.
  • Responsible for review of completed Batch Records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify all packaging materials are released and staged and that the quantities are verified by QA on the Work Instruction Sheet.
  • Verify room status and packaging equipment used in the batch process are signed off by QA before starting batch.
  • Clearly and accurately completes all required cGMP documentation.
  • Operate labelers, heat sealers, tape machines, tablet counters and semi-automatic filling equipment.
  • Contact Packaging Lead or Supervisor/Management if there are any deviations from batch records or procedures.
  • Required to use all approved and issued Personal Protective Equipment as directed by policy and procedure.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all pertinent Health and Safety Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
  • Execute job duties to the highest level of quality, accuracy, and customer service, adhering to the manufacturing schedule.
  • Preform all other tasks assigned tasks.
